Wickett & Craig

Founded in 1867, Wickett & Craig is a world premiere vegetable tannery. Originally from Toronto, Canada, today Wickett & Craig calls Curwensville, Pennsylvania home, making it one of the only specialty vegetable tanneries in the U.S.A.

Wickett & Craig’s English Bridle is a traditional leather with a variety of uses, from classic equestrian gear to high-end leather goods. English Bridle is smooth, flexible and durable, and carried in our workshop in seven colours.

conceria puccini

Originating as a small, family-run tannery in the heart of Tuscany, Conceria Puccini Attilio creates some of the highest quality vegetable-tanned leathers in the world.

Conceria Puccini is a founding member of the Consortium of Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather, a small group of tanners in the tanning district between Pisa and Florence, where vegetable tanned leather is still produced following traditional methods . The quality of vegetable tanned leather in Tuscany is the result of long-lasting experience and is closely connected to the lifestyle and culture of these areas.

Premium bonded nylon thread

The majority of our leather goods are hand-stitched using Vinymo premium Japanese bonded nylon thread, which is UV resistant and stands up to the wear and tear of daily use.

As if high strength and durability was not enough, this thread is offered in a number of colours (25 of them stocked as standard in the workshop) and allows for almost endless variety and customization of Sierra Whiskey Leatherworks goods.

A hand-stitched item is inherently stronger and more striking than a machine-stitched good. Hand-stitching elevates an item from mass-production to heirloom-quality and is a sign that your creation has been methodically assembled and constructed.
