Sierra Whiskey Leatherworks was born of a moment when I realized that my wallet was falling apart and needed replacement. Tired of the endless cycle of replacing worn-out, low quality, “genuine leather” wallets, I set out to find an item that I could have for years and that could become an expression of individuality, while ideally supporting local small business. Underwhelmed by the options and value, I decided right then and there that I could make something myself.

What began as the search for something myself became a passion to create truly individual items that are tailored to the intended recipient. When you choose to own or gift something from Sierra Whiskey Leatherworks you are choosing to forgo cheap, replaceable items that have become so prevalent.
